Denali Backcountry Lodge In Kantishna
 

The Denali Backcountry Lodge is located at the end of the restricted-access Denali Park Road within the borders of Denali National Park. Transportation to the Lodge is limited to the Lodge’s private bus (included in the room rate) or by bush plane for an extra charge. Departing daily from the Denali Cabins at 13:00 hrs and the Denali Train at 13:15hrs, the drive to the Lodge is approximately 6 hours, and provides guests many opportunities for wildlife viewing and sight-seeing. Guests can enjoy family-style dinners (served in the Main Lodge), a daily breakfast, and a soup and sandwich buffet lunch (served in the Day Lodge), all of which is included in the room rate. There is an on-site bar where guests can purchase local craft beers, wine, or cocktails. Naturalist guided hikes, mountain biking, gold panning, fishing, natural history presentations, morning yoga, and excursions to Wonder Lake are some of the additional included activities. Massage services are offered for an additional cost at the on-site spa, “The Nest.” Denali Backcountry Lodge advises guests to travel light with soft luggage. A luggage limit of one soft sided bag (35lbs/16 kilograms max) and one carry-on per person is applicable.
