Located 5 km from the Oloololo Gate, Mara West Camp offers secluded tented accommodation, overlooking the plains of the Mara Reserve. It features a restaurant and game viewing opportunities. The tented chalets are a combination of canvas and solid building materials. The safari tents are made of canvas with zippered door and windows with roll up panels. The bathrooms are made of brick. All are equipped with a seating area, mosquito nets, and a desk. Breakfast is served at the Kingfisher Dining Lodge or on the terrace, overlooking the savannah. Additional meals are available for a surcharge, including vegetarian dishes. Mara West Camp can arrange activities, such as game drives with 4x4 vehicles, walking tours and visits to a Maasai village. Nearby Airstrips include Mara Serena, Musiara and Kichwa Tembo.
